Creating spaces that feel like you.
AURAWALLS started as a running note of ideas that actually worked in real apartments — rentals with walls you can’t drill into, rooms doing three jobs at once, budgets that grow a little at a time instead of all at once. We still write it that way.
What we actually do
Every piece we publish comes from the same starting question: what would make this specific room, at this specific budget, feel more like someone lives there on purpose? That question rules out a lot of generic advice. It’s also why you’ll see the same handful of retailers and price points come up again and again — we’re recommending what we’d actually buy, not what pays the most.
How we choose what to recommend
Products featured on AURAWALLS are chosen editorially first. We look for pieces that solve a real, specific problem — a corner that needs light, a wall that needs texture, a rental that needs to look finished without a drill. Some of the links we include are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we choose to recommend or how we describe it. Read the full breakdown in our affiliate disclosure.
Where we’re based
AURAWALLS is written with the Indian home in mind — rupee pricing, retailers that actually ship here, and the specific realities of apartment living in Indian cities, from balcony sizes to rental norms.
